A fine knit sweater built on a vertical rib, and that single detail does the work: the raised lines run top to bottom and draw the eye up rather than across. The neckline is a shallow V, quiet enough for the office and open enough to show a chain. It follows the body closely without squeezing, and a soft ruched drape at one side of the waist gathers the knit where it would otherwise pull.
